A total of 35 funded PhD positions will be available from 2009-2013 in four U.K. universities: LAncaster, Nottingham, Cardiff and Southampton (LANCS).The U.K.’s Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) has awarded the LANCS initiative grants to a total of  5.4 million GBP to support the development of research capacity in Operational Research (OR) at these four collaborating universities.  This, together with additional support coming from the universities themselves, means that during the period 2008-2013, a 13 million GBP investment will be made. University of Manchester England prepare postgraduate scholarship bursary of £2,000, which is automatically deducted from student’s fee at enrollment. The full 2009-10 Overseas Fee for Masters program within the discipline of Geography is £10,800. Must be used for full time study in the 2009-10 academic year.
